Summer Intensive Course 2012 (70 heures)



Dates	From July 2 to 20, 2011

Number of hours	70 hours of face to face (45 hours fundamental course, with 25 hours conversation in smaller groups.

Course level	Intermediate to Upper Intermediate (B1 to B2)

Evaluation	Written and oral with end-of-studies certificate

ECTS (proposed)	5 credits for 70 hours

Course content - 45 hours fundamental course

Objective	To build on and consolidate language acquisition, paying particular attention to oral expression and practice in writing skills, while integrating cultural aspects

Programme	45 hours in total, approximately 15 hours per week with one hour of personal self study

Grammar, Written expression	Study and practice tenses, modal verbs and their use

Oral and Written Comprehension	Listen to recordings of authentic passages (radio and TV news, film, songs) of increasing difficulty Improve recognition and production of grammatical structures, with phonetic practice

Course content - 25 hours conversation

Objectiv	To acquire confidence when speaking in various situations, to become more spontaneous, more precise and effective. To adapt to situations as well as to the interlocutor.

Programme	�9 hours per week

Oral expression and comprehension	Increase linguistic resources through targeted language practice Practice idiomatic expressions appropriate to age and context Improve diction and intonation Build awareness of non-verbal communication Sensibilisation � la communication non verbale
